About us

DAKIE International e.V. is a non-profit organization committed to sustainable development in impoverished areas of Africa. The focus of the work is the Sahel region south of the Sahara.

With our projects, we are improving people’s livelihood by accessing clean drinking water, health, education and income. Combating child poverty is particularly important to us. We promote African art and culture and want to support integration into our society today.

Our work is supported by many companies, Governments, charities, churches and individuals, among others, who share our vision of making the world a better place for everyone.

How do we work?

 

Our focus is on the Sahel zone – one of the poorest regions in the world. In our projects, we work closely with local partner organizations in different African countries. If necessary, specialists and volunteers support our partners on the ground. To achieve our common goals, we also work together with other charitable organizations.

How do we finance our works?

DAKIE International e.V. is non-profit and enrolls for transparency

For the information about our work, the acquisition of new supporters and partners as well as the necessary administration, only 13% costs are incurred. We cover these largely from our own revenues so that donations can be used in full for the project work. We would be pleased to give you more information.
